Biography
ニューヨークにてアシスタントを経て、コマーシャルフォトグラファー ／ アーティストとして活動開始。１０年の活動の後、拠点を東京に移す。広告写真の他にアーティストとして活動。
After working as an assistant in New York, I began working as a commercial photographer/artist. After 10 years of activity, I moved our base to Tokyo. In addition to advertising photography, I also works as an artist.
Artist Statement
「自然が作り上げた造形と人工物の融合」をテーマに、自然界の被写体「植物」、人工物の被写体「グラスアイ」・「和紙」・「リボン」等の二者を組み合わせ、自ら創造する理想郷 “ボフィーカ-Boficca-”での生物・現象を表現した独特の世界観を展開することで心の奥底に潜む自然に対する畏敬の念の再認識を促す
With the theme of "fusion of natural forms and man-made objects'', I combine objects from the natural world such as "plants'' and artificial objects such as "glass eyes'', "Japanese paper'', and "ribbons'' to create our own ideals. By developing a unique world view that expresses living things and phenomena in the township of "Boficca", I encourage a reaffirmation of the reverence for nature that lies deep within our hearts.
