Exhibition Plan Summary
"Information Error" 32V LCD TV 733mm x 471mm x 173mm / Acrylic water tank 760mm x 459mm x 70mm / Water-based color ink
The world is said to be an information war. Individual interpretations are fragmented, biased information runs wild, and people are divided. Television is already overflowing with disturbing information of unknown veracity, and is constantly on the verge of error. As an end to biased media information, I layered the glitches in television color test patterns to express the suffering and error state of living in this era. I am currently considering a new work based on the video installation at the Meiji Emperor's residence, considering the life of the Meiji Emperor.
Biography
音楽制作とビデオインスタレーションで活動。2012年2nd CD「Underground storage gallery」タワーレコードJAZZランキング2位獲得、NHKプロモーションによる京都国立博物館て古事記1300年 出雲大社大遷宮特別展覧会 「大出雲展」に楽曲が採用。2025年 3rd CD 国内外の旅をコンセプトにした「Road of the sun 」リリース。2019年「深く静寂で眩い叙情的な世界〜繊細な視覚と聴覚を研ぎ澄まし、ただ佇んで聞き流すだけの音の美術館」4th CD「Installation Of Video Soundtracks CDEdition」リリース。
Active in music production and video installation. 2012 2nd CD "Underground storage gallery" won 2nd place in the Tower Records JAZZ ranking, and the song was featured in the Kojiki 1300 Izumo Taisha Grand Sengu Special Exhibition "Great Izumo Exhibition" at the Kyoto National Museum through NHK promotion. 2025 3rd CD "Road of the sun" based on the concept of domestic and international travel will be released. In 2019, the 4th CD “Installation Of Video Soundtracks CDEdition” was released, “A deep, quiet and dazzling lyrical world ~ A museum of sound that sharpens your delicate vision and hearing, and just stands there and listens.”
Artist Statement
過去に身体を壊した経験により作品への完全性から不完全な曖昧さと身体や心のエラーと芸術の統合により抽象的な制作を開始。世界共通する普遍的な生死観、風化する伝承や歴史の痕跡など探り地域の風土や神話の追求。記憶にある視覚的体験を映像化しビデオインスタレーションや即興パフォーマンスの表現活動をおこなう。
Due to a past experience that damaged his body, he began to create abstract works by integrating incomplete ambiguity, errors in the body and mind, and art from the perfection of his work. The pursuit of local climate and myths, exploring the universal views of life and death that are common throughout the world, and the traces of fading traditions and history. He visualizes the visual experiences he remembers and creates expressive activities such as video installations and improvisational performances.
