Born in Tokyo in 1966. Graduated from the Department of Philosophy, Faculty of Letters, Kyoto University. Worked as a program director, event producer, and video software producer at a commercial broadcasting station. Currently enrolled in Kyoto University of Arts Graduate School, Department of Art and Cultural Heritage. The research theme is “perception generation and creation in art”

「芸術の役割は見えるものを再現するのではなく、見えるようにすることにある」というパウル・クレーの言葉の通り、アートには日常的な感覚を揺さぶり、常識の裂け目から異界を垣間見させる力があります。誰しも幼い頃には日々、存在の神秘に打たれ、身の回りにあふれている謎に問いかけ、ときにはその美しさを自ら発見し、ものの見え方が変じてしまうほどの衝撃も経験していたはずです。今もわたしたちの足元、その直下に超越への通路は潜んでいます。作品という「場」を通してこうした感覚を取り戻し、いわば「世界の再魔術化」を実現させるべく取り組んで参ります

Art shakes up our everyday senses and gives us a glimpse of another world through the cracks in common sense. There is power. When we were young, we were all struck by the mysteries of existence, questioned the mysteries surrounding us, and sometimes even discovered the beauty for ourselves, experiencing shocks that changed the way we see things. is. Even now, the path to transcendence lurks right beneath our feet. Through the ``place'' of my work, I will regain this feeling and work to realize ``re-enchantment of the world,'' so to speak.
