Biography
日本と韓国を中心に、映像、写真、インスタレーションなど、多様な形式で作品を発表している。在日コリアンという立場から、国籍や帰属意識、社会問題などを「圏外」の視点から作品化してきた。近年は、「あなたの驢鳴犬吠を聞かせてください」と問いかける対話型の作品や、女性の家事労働を題材とした作品に取り組んでいる。
主な展示に中央線芸術祭（東京）、「アリランの種―コリアンディアスポラ作家展―」（韓国 国立現代美術館2009年）、「福島の新世代2009 CLOSETOYOU!―もっと近くに」（福島県立美術館）、 「光州ビエンナーレ2002」（韓国 光州）など。
福島生まれ。東京在住。
He presents his work in a variety of formats, including video, photography, and installation, mainly in Japan and Korea. From the perspective of a Korean living in Japan, he has created works about nationality, sense of belonging, social issues, etc. from the perspective of the ``outside''. In recent years, she has been working on interactive pieces that ask the question, ``Please tell me how you scream,'' as well as pieces that focus on women's domestic work.
Major exhibitions include the Chuo Line Art Festival (Tokyo), "Seeds of Arirang - Korean Diaspora Artists Exhibition" (National Museum of Modern and Contemporary Art, South Korea, 2009), and "Fukushima's New Generation 2009 CLOSETOYOU! - Closer" (Fukushima Prefectural Museum of Art) , "Gwangju Biennale 2002" (Gwangju, South Korea), etc.
Born in Fukushima. Lives in Tokyo.

この世界に存在する、数えきれない「無いとされるもの」に目を向け可視化する事と、個人の問題の社会的な座標を示すこと、を目標にしています。
My goal is to focus on and visualize the countless things that exist in this world that are considered non-existent, and to show the social coordinates of individual problems.
