Exhibition Plan Summary
It is said that strange things happen on full moon days. It is believed that not only people and animals but also wine are influenced by the power of the moon. The wines that shine brightly on a full moon night may be secretly conversing and interacting with each other in a place that humans cannot see. Set in the lovely wine cellar of Okadaya Main Store, I have created an installation that gives you a peek into their world. If you can listen to their voices, the wines you encounter in the future will taste even better.

momo/ Kurumi Uemura's works aim to help people find time for healing in the busyness of modern society. She creates spatial installations and humorous illustrations, and in this day and age where people are focusing on spending their days efficiently, she makes us realize that even the time that seems wasted is actually precious time from a new perspective. Our mission is to create works that breathe life back into waste materials that are often thrown away in an efficient world, and to speak to the hearts of those who see them about ``precious time.'' In addition to works with everyday themes, he draws on his experience of growing up surrounded by the beautiful nature of his home prefecture, Mie Prefecture, and uses nature and animals as motifs in his production activities.
