Exhibition Plan Summary

建築後二百数十年を経て現在に引き継がれた空間に「継承」をイメージしたいと考えています。あわせて武家屋敷の特徴である「表向き」と「裏向き」をどう取り込むかが課題です。

I would like to imagine "inheritance" in the space that has been passed down to the present, more than 200 years after its construction. Another challenge is how to incorporate the characteristics of samurai residences: facing up and facing down.

Artist Statement

しわの凹凸や疎密さや勢いを「感情」ととらえ、色の対比を(人と人)また(陰と陽)や(動と静)など「対峙するもの」として、この両者の関係を心象風景として表現しています。

祈りを込めた折り紙、失敗し丸めた原画。紙の微かな折しわに、その時の感情がのこされます。行為の痕跡を情景として定着したいと思います。

The unevenness, density, and force of wrinkles are considered to be "emotions,'' and the contrast of colors (between people), (yin and yang), and (motion and stillness) are viewed as "opposing things'', and the relationship between these two is visualized in the mind. It is expressed as. Origami filled with prayers, original drawings that failed and were rolled up. The emotions of that moment remain in the slight creases in the paper. I would like to establish the traces of my actions as a scene.
