重箱のような形に、和紙や書物の一部を貼り付け、その上にドローイングやペインティングをして作品制作しています。

I create works by pasting parts of Japanese paper and books into a box-like shape, and then drawing and painting on top of it.

Biography

1960年生　好きなこと、苔や庭の手入れ、アウトドア、愛犬とのたわむれ。

Born in 1960. Hobbies: caring for moss and gardens, being outdoors, and playing with my dog.

アーティストステートメント

Artist Statement

和紙と木を使っての制作。茶室の壁、古寺の庭園、抹茶茶碗など、鑑賞すること心、精神が落ち着くような作品を制作したい。

Made using Japanese paper and wood. I want to create works that calm the mind and spirit when viewed, such as the walls of a tea room, the garden of an old temple, and a matcha tea bowl.
